Call (810) 240-2151How long does a home inspection take?
Timing varies based on the home’s size, age, condition, accessibility, and any additional services. We prioritize a complete inspection over racing the clock.
Should I attend the inspection?
When possible, attending near the end can be useful. It gives you a chance to see significant findings in context and ask questions.
Does a home pass or fail an inspection?
No. A home inspection reports observable conditions. The client decides how those findings affect the transaction or ownership plan.
Do you inspect new construction?
Yes. Newly built homes can have defects too, and an independent inspection can provide another layer of quality control before closing or warranty deadlines.
Can I add radon or sewer scope services?
Selected ancillary services can be added when available and appropriate for the property.
When do I receive the report?
Report timing is confirmed with your inspection. Our goal is to provide a clear digital report promptly after the fieldwork and review are complete.
What if I have questions after the inspection?
Contact us. A useful inspection should leave you with a better understanding of the property, not a list of unexplained terms.
Do you serve my city?
Inspector Homes serves clients throughout Michigan, with an initial focus on Southeast and Mid-Michigan. If your city is not listed, ask about availability.
